The 0-3 Programme includes the following process each term (Term 1, 2 and 4):
Nominate a Books in Homes Coordinator Community / Playgroup Books in Homes Coordinator will be the main point of contact between the Playgroup and Books in Homes. The coordinator will receive information, schedules and ordering information for the Community / Playgroup.
Receive the Preview Pack The Preview Pack includes 12 titles and a book catalogue for each family. The Preview Pack is donated to your playgroup library. The Preview Pack will also include Caught Being Good books.
Families choose their books Each family receives a book catalogue with an order form on the back page. The families view the Preview Pack and mark on their order form the top four choices. The book catalogue is also accessible from the Book Cataloguessection of the website.
Completing the orders The Community Books in Homes Coordinator records all family choices on an Excel ordering spreadsheet, which is provided by Books in Homes Australia via email. The completed orders are then emailed back to Books in Homes Australia to be processed.
Receiving the orders Books in Homes Australia will then process the orders. The chosen books, book bags and labels will be sent out.
Prepare the books Each book should be labelled with the family's name, and put into Book Bags ready to be handed out.
